Customer Service: Cancellations
Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:
- Item(s) not available
- Difficulty in processing your payment information
- Cannot ship to address provided
- Duplicate order was placed
If your order is cancelled, you will receive an e-mail which will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you are interested in alternative products, please contact our 24-hour Customer Service team at 888-802-9947 for a recommendation.
Canceling Your Order
After you have clicked "Submit Order", you may be able to cancel your entire order. Simply click on the link in your Order Confirmation email, or select "Order Status/Tracking" in the "My Account" section of the website to view your order. If your order can be cancelled, you will see a "Cancel Order" button beside the order.
Please note you have a limited amount of time (30 minutes to 1 hour from the time you place your order) in which to cancel your order, as our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way as quickly as possible.
Currently, Timberland® can only cancel the entire order, not modify or adjust items within an order.
Your credit card will not be charged if you cancel an order, however if you used a Gift Card to pay for your order, you may not receive credit back for a time period of up to 3 to 5 business days. You will receive an email confirming credit back to your form of tender once we are able to reissue credit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please contact us immediately at 888-802-9947 if you wish to cancel your order for the following reasons:
- One or more products in your order become unavailable (You may cancel only the unavailable products).
- We are unable to process your payment information.
